About Mike Moran
 
Mike Moran has worked for the Web since its earliest days, in marketing and technical roles, including eight years at ibm.com, IBM’s customer-facing Web site. In 2008, Mike retired from IBM to pursue speaking, writing, and consulting, including in the role of Chief Strategist for that digital communications agency Converseon.
               
Mike can also be the author of Undertake It Wrong Quickly: How the Web Changes the Old Marketing Rules, anf the husband writes regular columns on search marketing for Revenue magazine, WebProNews, and Internet Search Engine Guide. He’s an associate of the Google Search Marketing Council in the Direct Marketing Association along with a charter member from the DMA’s Interactive Marketing Advisory Board. Mike is really a frequent keynote speaker on Internet marketing at events throughout the world, serves like a Visiting Lecturer towards the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, and the man holds an Advanced Certificate in Market Management Practice from your Royal UK Charter Institute of Marketing.
